We’re delighted to announce our featured lecturer:
Jose’ de Dios Mata, C.S.B.
Practitioner and teacher of Christian Science Healing
Member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship
Living the Kingdom of Heaven within us
How can we do this?

In his lecture, “Living in the Kingdom of Heaven right here and now,” Mata talks
about the Kingdom of Heaven isn’t some place in the future. It is a mental and spiritual
state of being filled with goodness that we can live in right now wherever we are. The ideas
Mata shares in his lecture are based on the Bible, especially the teachings and healings of
Christ Jesus that continually point to the Kingdom of Heaven at hand. Mata references
explanations of the practical nature of these Biblical points to today’s issues from the
textbook of Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures written by Mary
Baker Eddy who discovered this approach to healing. Mata also gives examples from his
own experience to illustrate how he has applied these ideas and achieved better health and
well-being for himself and others.

This lecture is jointly sponsored by Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, Indianapolis
and hosted by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Carmel
